Application: After passing Step I exam you should email us your CV (resume). If it is accepted, we will send you preliminary approval, fee information and payment date. All fees are due in full 60 days prior to start of your session. If your session starts in less than 60 days, they are due within one week of approval. Upon payment of the full tuition and room rent fees, we will email you formal sponsorship/invitation letter that you can use for visa approval.

Priority System: Some students, due to personal schedule issues, wait until the last minute to register. We strictly follow a priority system whereby choice assignments are given based on registration date. We encourage you to register early to get higher priority for the best training assignments. Do not delay. We also request you to take as early a session as possible so as to leave some time for further training or research. Your registration for one session is transferable to future sessions if you are delayed for some reason; e.g., visa, bad health, etc. Thus, by registering well in advance of your intended session, you can get higher priority to get choice assignments that are in great demand.

Training Goals: Getting residency in US hospitals is extremely competitive. You are competing with students with scores in the high 90's. The more US clinical experience you have on your CV, the more desirable your application will be. You always have the option to add another 3-week module to your training here. You may not make this decision until the 1st or 2nd week of starting your training, so do not book your return ticket before you arrive in order to provide flexibility to add more training or research time.

2012 Training Program and Schedule: The standard program of 6 weeks has two mini-sessions of 3 weeks each. We enroll students for standard sessions only (6 weeks minimum), after which you will have earned two LOR's. Your first assignment will be partially at a teaching physician's office, but mostly hospital-based. Your second assignment can be 100% hospital-based if the student so chooses.

All Sessions are for 3 weeks statrting on Monday and ending on third Friday.
